Dr Simon Perkins

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Simon Perkins is a Queensland trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in hip, knee, and trauma surgery.

Dr Perkins studied Medicine at the University of Queensland and underwent his surgical training locally. After receiving a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he completed sub-specialty fellowships in Complex and Revision Lower Limb Arthroplasty in London, UK and Knee Surgery in Bristol, UK.

Dr Perkins is the Director of Orthopaedics at The Prince Charles Hospital and a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in private practice at Brisbane Orthopaedic Specialist Services. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine.
