Dr Simon Perkins
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Simon Perkins is a Queensland trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in hip, knee, and trauma surgery.
Dr Perkins studied Medicine at the University of Queensland and underwent his surgical training locally. After receiving a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons he completed sub-specialty fellowships in Complex and Revision Lower Limb Arthroplasty in London, UK, and Knee Surgery in Bristol, UK.
Dr Perkins is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) and in private practice at Brisbane Orthopaedic Specialist Services (BOSS). He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine and a former Director of Orthopaedics at The Prince Charles Hospital.
