Dr Andrew Ryan

Dr Andrew Ryan is a Brisbane born and educated Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in surgery of the hand, shoulder, upper limb, and microsurgery. Dr Ryan runs extensive Hand and Shoulder Clinics at both the Brisbane Private Hospital and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, in conjunction with hand and shoulder physiotherapists. These Hand and Shoulder Clinics oversee the management and treatment of all hand, shoulder, and elbow injuries – including sports, work, and degenerative-related injuries.

Dr Ryan has extensive, multi-decade experience in hand, upper limb, and trauma surgery, having served in this capacity for many years as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Brisbane Hospital (now Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital).
