Adjunct Professor Anna Lenardon
Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist
Adj. Prof. Anna Lenardon completed her medical training in Italy. Shelter worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist in the UK and then undertook her Fellowship in Psychiatry while working in NHS Foundation Trusts and Prison Services. She completed specialist training in Forensic Psychiatry and consulted as a Forensic Psychiatrist to East London and South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts prisons before arriving in Australia in 2017. She initially worked in Melbourne at the Thomas Embling Hospital. She is currently employed as a Specialist Programs and AODS Medical Director and as Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with the Forensic Community Team.
Adj. Prof. Lenardon has a special interest in treating mentally disordered offenders in prison, particularly female offenders, and the link between substance abuse and criminal offending.
