Adjunct Professor Anna Lenardon
Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist
Adjunct Professor Anna Lenardon completed her medical training in Italy. She later worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist in the UK and then undertook her Fellowship in Psychiatry while working in the NHS Foundation Trusts and Prison Services. She completed specialist training in Forensic Psychiatry and consulted as a Forensic Psychiatrist at East London, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts prisons, before arriving in Australia in 2017. She initially worked in Melbourne at the Thomas Embling Hospital, and subsequently as a Specialist Programs and AODS Medical Director and Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with the Forensic Community Team at Gold Coast Health.
Adj. Prof. Lenardon has a special interest in treating mentally disordered offenders in prison, particularly female offenders, and the link between substance abuse and criminal offending.
