Dr Pankaj Relan

Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist

Relan, an Indian-trained psychiatrist, completed his medical and post-graduate psychiatric training at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in India. He moved to Australia in 2003 and gained experience working as a Psychiatric Registrar at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, James Nash Hospital, and Modbury. He obtained his Fellowship in Psychiatry in Australia and continued working as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Modbury Public Hospital before relocating to Brisbane.

Currently, Dr. Relan works part-time as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at The Prince Charles Hospital in the public system. His areas of interest include multi-disciplinary psychiatric care and the education of undergraduate medical students in psychiatry. Additionally, he has extensive experience providing independent medico-legal reports in various private settings, having conducted thousands of assessments.
